The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The GDPR gives EU citizens control of their digital data by empowering you with the the right to know when personal data is being collected, what data is being collected, access to that data, and to purge it on request. Essentially, when you complete a form on a website, you become a data subject and you have rights. The GDPR is a data privacy regulation that modernises and normalises data privacy laws across Europe.

At Fleet360 , we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that we do not share your data with any other companies for marketing purposes. This GDPR Policy describes when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it and the new rights you now have.

Data Subject Rights

In plain English, a data subject is any EU citizen from which personal data is collected. GDPR compliance requires data subjects (that’s you) to be granted certain rights.

  • You have the the right to be informed
  • the right of access
  • the right to rectification
  • the right to erasure
  • the right to restrict processing
  • the right to data portability
  • the right to object
  • the right not to be subject to automated decision-making including profiling

The data we hold

As part of our newsletter subscription process for our newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

Newsletter tools

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer.

Survey tools

We use a third-party provider, Survey Anyplace (SA), to help deliver our driver surveys and questionnaires. SA has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data of the data we collect. They use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. They secure any personally identifiable information we collect on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. When financial information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to the payment gateway, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

However, we acknowledge that we act in the capacity of data controller with regard to any personal data used or submitted in or through a survey or other application or functionality of the tool, and since we decide with our client which personal data of respondents are being collected, without interference from or control by SA. In this context, SA acts as a mere processor.

In that regard, we commit to communicate to our respondents that it relies on the services of an external processor who applies the same level of privacy standards as ourselves. Fleet360 acts in accordance with the GDPR and informs all respondents of the purposes for which their personal data are collected and by obtaining the necessary consents in conjunction with client requirements.

Access to your information

If you would like a report, then please enter your email address here:
