Introducing FleetMeet

The new channel for fleet related chat…

This new biweekly FleetMeet video series is co-produced by Automotive Fleet and Fleet360 to compare and contrast fleet trends occurring in both Europe and North America. The discussion is co-hosted by Hans Damen, managing partner of Fleet360, who is based in Europe; and Mike Antich, editor, Automotive Fleet magazine, who is based in the U.S. and follows North American fleet market trends in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

EPISODE #1 – topics include:

  • Escalating fleet costs are occurring simultaneously in Europe and North America that are impacting fleet operations in the two regions.
  • Key factors driving higher fleet costs are reduced manufacturer incentives, inflationary prices, a trend to higher interest rates, upward pressure on commodity prices, and a sharp increase in fuel prices.
  • Both markets are transitioning to EVs away from ICE vehicles, with Europe in the forefront.
  • Separate forecasts are provided about future used-vehicle market conditions in Europe and North America.
